It's been like 2 weeks since I've blogged. I have so many pictures on my laptop and so little time to download them!
We have had some snow here in middle TN. We got around 5 inches last week. It was great, but after a 5 day weekend for the kids and being stuck at home, I was a little ready for the sun to melt it away! : )
We made lots of snow angels
and built a snowman!
The kids really wanted to sled. After checking everywhere in town and coming up empty, my hubby came up with this...
Nothing a little beadboard couldn't help!
We ate lots of soup,
drank lots of hot chocolate,
and enjoyed the warmth of the fireplace.
I think we have had our fill of snow until next winter, though.
Of course, snow is in the forecast again, this weekend. So we will see about that!

Looks like a fun time for all! Our snow melted today but looks like we are due for more on Sunday! I am so ready for dome spring!
Yeah, we're ready for some sunshine too. Hey, I made the stromboli, but tweaked it a little. I accidentally bought pizza dough, it worked fine. I also added a second layer with salami and pizza sauce. It was a hit, thanks!
I'm sure we didn't get as much as you did (we're in Birmingham), but I was ready for it to go away! All my friends on FB and Twitter were all aflutter about the snow here, so I felt kid of "bah humbug" about wanting it to go away. But it really makes our yard a slushy mess! If it would snow two feet and then stay around for more than 24 hours, it would be fun ... but we just don't get snow like that!
