I am so excited about something that my small group at church is doing. We are going to read the New Testament in the next 30 days. I was a little nervous about doing it at first because that is a LOT of reading!! I am not a big reader, so I wasn't sure I could pull it off. To be honest, I'm still not sure about that, but then, I thought, even if I don't get the whole things read, how can it hurt to try? I mean, if I only read the first 6 chapters of Matthew (did that today!!), how beneficial would that be to my life and my walk with God! Don't be fooled, though, I haven't given up before I've begun! My husband and I are doing the Old and New Testaments in 90 days. He leaves for work at 6am so we read together right before we go to bed. It's been wonderful! We are newlyweds and it's not only helped in our walk with the Lord but, also in our marriage! Keep it up. You can do it :o)
