What do you get when you take one of these-
and put it in one of these-
put it on top of one of these-
and then add a sprinkle of this ?
THIS....
There are several of these all around blogland. I know I saw them here and here. This is my version.
Vase- Dollar Tree $1
Candle- Dollar Tree $1
Candle Base- Walmart $2
Holly- Free from my frontyard
Most of the other hurricanes like this I have seen had a candlestick base also from the Dollar Tree. I really wanted a softer line and for them to be a little shorter. I found these at Walmart and even though they were twice the amount, it is perfect!! Because of the sturdy wide base, I didn't have to glue them together, either. For only $4 each, I still think they are a great deal!!

I love those wider bases. I don't like the Dollar Tree candle stick bases either! And I love the hurricane in the middle! Gorgeous!
okay, so i need to see your house :) even if you just take a few pictures and email them to me...you might not be ready to show the world..but you can show your best friend :) love you!
WOW, beautiful, I don't have any of those shops here in Ireland but must try to replicate that in some way x
Those look GREAT!! I love it!! - I couldn't find the tall skinny candles at Dollar Tree.

Those turned out great! Thanks for sharing, and thanks for commenting on my blog!
I love them. I have actually thought about doing some in a totally different theme than anything I have seen yet but just haven't been back to buy the stuff. Yours are still very reasonable.
Thanks for posting to the party.

Those are so pretty and so inexpensive. That would make such a great hostess gift. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the visit.

Thanks for the comments about my kitchen, I am going to do a post about the remodel of the kitchen after the first of the year, so check back. It took blood sweat and tears, but was well worth it. I hope you have a MERRY CHRISTMAS.
